This position focuses on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment with an emphasis on HVAC/R systems. Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and minimal downtime. Technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration, along with skills in electrical systems, plumbing, and material handling, are required for daily maintenance tasks.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
• Operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems
• Conducting facility inspections and reporting conditions impacting operations
• Completing hazard assessments and ensuring safety compliance
• Updating work orders in CMMS systems like Corrigo
• Communicating issues to customers and management promptly
• Performing interior/exterior repairs and maintaining grounds and production equipment

Desired experience and skills include:

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least four years of technical experience in building engineering with HVAC/R background
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
• Ability to work at heights, climb ladders (up to 30 feet), and work in adverse weather
• Availability for on-call work

Preferred:

• 3rd Party Certification
• Two years of trades school or apprenticeship in electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC
• Knowledge of Word and Excel

Must be available for call-in work and perform other duties as required.
