Job summary

Carter BloodCare is seeking a Mobile Driver to safely transport mobile blood drive coaches and related vehicles across the CBC service area. You will ensure vehicles are properly equipped, maintained, and compliant with DOT regulations while supporting logistics for blood drive events.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, CDL, and ongoing DOT medical certification, with regular travel to Texoma and North Texas locations. Non-traditional shifts and overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely transport mobile blood drive coaches and related vehicles to and from blood drive locations.
• Ensure assigned vehicles are equipped, maintained, inspected, and operated per DOT regulations and CBC policies.
• Support mobile blood drive operations by assisting with logistical activities for successful events.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as assigned.
• Regularly travel between work areas to support other locations in Texoma and North Texas; maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Maintain active DOT Medical Certification as required.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

This position supports mobile blood drive operations by ensuring assigned vehicles are properly equipped, maintained, inspected, and operated in accordance with applicable DOT regulations, CBC policies, vehicle safety guidelines, and departmental procedures. The Mobile Driver assists with operational and logistical activities to support successful blood drive events, as assigned.

Regular travel between assigned work areas to support other locations/projects in Texoma and North Texas is required. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (as specified in the current Vehicle Safety Loss Control Guidelines), including a Commercial Driver’s License, are required. This position requires maintaining an active and current DOT Medical Certification, as required by role-specific regulations and organizational requirements.

This position may require working varied shifts, extended hours, weekends, and/or overtime to support operational needs. Regular, full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.
