Job summary

Barkbus LLC is hiring Pet Stylists for mobile grooming across the LA area. You will provide 1-on-1 grooming in state-of-the-art vans, delivering a luxurious experience for each pup.

We support you with scheduling, a groomer-first culture, and a focus on safety and quality, while offering a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional grooming experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable interacting with customers/pet parents.
• Ability to lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to guide or maneuver dogs up to 100 lbs with the van’s equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium 1-on-1 grooming including bathing, cutting, shaving, and trimming.
• Walk dogs before appointments and keep the van clean and organized.
• Operate independently within Barkbus grooming vans.
• Prioritize safety and quality with a manageable daily schedule.

About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Deliver premium 1-on-1 care, performing all aspects of grooming: bathing, cutting, shaving and trimming.
• Support a smooth daily workflow by walking dogs prior to appointments and maintaining a clean, organized van.
• Operate independently within our state-of-the-art Hanvey grooming vans.
• Prioritize safety and quality while maintaining a manageable daily schedule.
• Select from various shift types to best fit your personal schedule.

Role Requirements

• 1+ years of professional grooming experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable interacting with customers/pet parents
• Ability to safely lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to safely guide or maneuver dogs up to 100 lbs with the use of the van’s equipment (e.g., lift, grooming table)
• Weekly bonus potential of up to $225
• Weekly payroll
