Deez Muttz is a mobile grooming company bringing high-quality grooming services directly to clients’ homes in Colorado, focusing on compassion, professionalism, and client trust. We seek a skilled Mobile Dog Groomer who thrives in a hands-on, client-facing role with flexible hours.

We offer commission-based pay with potential for advancement, a supportive owner-operator, and a starting pay around $60k with up to $80k possible annually. Paid time off and opportunities for growth are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience (mobile grooming a plus).
• Strong animal handling skills across all breeds and sizes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and stay detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to work varying hours on Monday through Friday, between 7:30am to 6pm, and one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service grooming (bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, breed-specific cuts) with care and attention to each dog’s needs.
• Handle pets safely and humanely, monitoring for health or behavioral concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and PACFA-compliant grooming environment inside the mobile unit.
• Drive and operate the grooming van safely between client appointments.
• Deliver excellent client service through clear communication, care tips, and building long-term relationships.

Physical Demands

• Ability to walk, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Able to step into and out of the vehicle, carrying pets or supplies.
• Safely lift and assist pets of various sizes and weights (up to 75 lbs)
• Comfortable transporting and handling animals in and out of the grooming unit
• Handling animals of varying sizes and temperaments
• Able to communicate with others in order to accurately exchange information
• Able to drive between client appointments, navigating neighborhood streets in varying weather
• Able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
