Job summary

Health Aid of Ohio seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair and perform routine maintenance on patient-owned and VA equipment. You will handle assembly, repair, delivery, and field service calls, with some after-hours on-call duties.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift heavy items. Fluent English and clean appearance are required; prior home health care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited High School, or GED equivalent.
• Previous technical and/or production experience.
• Must be able to lift heavy items regularly.
• Good communication skills.
• Must read and speak English fluently.
• Licensed and registered where required.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of customer service at all times.
• Assembles, repairs and delivers all products and equipment.
• Performs service calls in office and in the field.
• Occasional evening and weekend support per on-call schedules.
• Instructs patients on proper use of care equipment.
• Maintains knowledge of all provided equipment.
• Completes all paperwork accurately.
• Maintains company vehicle and work area.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
• Attends required continuing education.
