Hooper-Corporation in Colorado is seeking an industrial truck and equipment technician to troubleshoot repairs, perform maintenance, and support electrical construction projects in the service area.

The role offers overtime, a company truck, provided tools, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a union position, therefore pay and benefits are set through union rates and negotiated local agreements. Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and be able to travel for field work year-round.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diesel tech school program preferred.
• Maintain a Class A CDL in good standing with federal medical card.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to climb ladders and work on equipment surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major truck systems including diesel and gas engines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Work with hydraulic systems and electrical schematics.
• Operate equipment such as dozers, backhoes, skid steers, and cranes.
• Follow FMCSA and DOT inspection requirements.
• Use shop tools like welders, torches, and air tools.
• Fabricate with steel.
• Complete repair orders detailing labor and parts.
• Keep logs and records and use MS Word/Excel.
• Maintain workplace safety.
