We are hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician responsible for performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on trucks and trailers, with opportunities to learn advanced skills under supervision.

DUTIES:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on vehicles and trailers in a mobile environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck and trailer systems, including electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, transmissions, and more.
• Diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles, and manage parts inventory.
• Document work and communicate effectively with clients and management.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles safely, and perform safety inspections.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma/GED plus 3 years' related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Possess necessary hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 certification within 18 months.
• Pass DOT background screening and physical.
• Valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, and clean driving record.

Certifications:

• ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months; other ASE certifications preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Physical ability to lift, climb, and stand for long periods.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment accurately.
