Position:

Mobile Diesel Technician in Nashville, TN, working Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM.

What You’ll Do:

Provide on-site maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for various vehicles and equipment at customer locations using a service truck. Responsibilities include inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Job Duties:
  1. Conduct preventive maintenance, oil changes, lubrication, and identify worn or damaged parts; install upgrades on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  2. Perform inspections at customer sites, maintaining the service truck.
  3. Handle service calls for diagnosis and repairs related to vehicle breakdowns.
  4. Repair, replace, and adjust components across all major systems to correct deficiencies.
  5. Test drive vehicles to verify performance and make adjustments.
  6. Replace and rotate tires as needed.
  7. Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle standards through testing.
  8. Maintain accurate vehicle service records.
  9. Manage costs effectively by using warranties and evaluating service options.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary vocational training preferred.
  • Experience in mechanical inspections and repairs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Fleet and mobile maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Basic hand tools up to 1.5” and ½ drive pneumatics.
  • Technical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain inventory control.
  • Commitment to safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
  • Pass post-offer drug test, physical, and lift test.
Compensation:
  • $33-$35/hour depending on experience.
  • Full-time position.
