Job summary

Clarke is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to join the team and perform on-site maintenance and repairs for customers, operating a mobile service truck on a day shift from Monday to Friday. This role may include rotation for on-call duties every 4 weeks.

The ideal candidate has preventative maintenance experience, a diesel program certificate or degree, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record. CDL is a plus and ASE certifications are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Preventative Maintenance service background required.
• Preferred certificate or degree from a Diesel program.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.
• ASE Certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair work on engines, drivetrains, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes.
• Troubleshooting and inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Good computer skills and good verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Will perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer’s location.
• Will operate mobile service truck daily (can take truck home).

Mobile Diesel Technician

Mon-Fri: Day Shift Schedule

Potential On Call Schedule (Rotation every 4 weeks)

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Service and repair work, engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting and inspections

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

• Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required
• Preferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program
