Clarke Power Services, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician - Truck Mechanic to operate a service truck and perform onsite maintenance and repairs. The role emphasizes safety and customer service with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

The position offers a mid-shift schedule (12:00pm-10pm, Tue-Fri) with a shift differential of $1.50 per hour. Required and preferred credentials include a diesel program background and/or ASE certifications. DOT medcard may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of preventative maintenance service experience required
• Preferred certificate or degree from a diesel program
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record; CDL a plus
• ASE certifications are a plus

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Service and repair work, engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting and inspections
• Preventative Maintenance
• Good computer skills and good verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Will perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer's location
• Will operate mobile service truck daily
• 2 years Preventative Maintenance Service Background Preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus
• ASE Certifications a plus

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required
• Preferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program
