Job summary

Total Tire Solutions, in partnership with True North Fleet Services, seeks an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support customers by operating a fully equipped mobile service vehicle, diagnosing problems, and delivering quality repairs in the field.

This hands-on role requires independence, strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems, and clear communication with customers. We offer ongoing ASE development, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel/heavy-duty experience preferred.
• Mobile/fieldservice experience strongly preferred.
• ASE TSeries certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavyduty trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using experience, diagnostic tools, and service information.
• Repair diesel engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and related components.
• Respond to mobile service and roadside repair needs.
• Independently assess equipment issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Perform DOT inspections and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
• Communicate equipment conditions, repair recommendations, and job status with customers.
