Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to service forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites. This is a mobile role with a company-provided service vehicle; no shop work and no weekends.

Compensation includes an $1500 sign-on bonus, hourly pay, and opportunities for commission. The position dispatches from home and offers a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working on forklifts, heavy equipment or auto.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to customer sites to diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Service and install batteries, chargers, and related equipment.
• Document work performed and follow safety procedures.
