Job summary

Gordon Truck Centers in Ridgefield, WA seeks a Mobile/Field Service Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty equipment on-site at customer locations. You’ll troubleshoot, service engines, transmissions, braking, and suspensions, reading electrical schematics and using tools as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of truck repair experience and a valid CDL/driver’s license; tools and a full shop routine are provided. Expect varied shifts and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Two years or more heavy equipment dealership experience preferred.
• Three years of actual truck repair experience required.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.
