Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel technicians to perform on-site repairs and inspections for trucks and trailers at customer locations. You will join a fast-growing fleet-maintenance network that values efficiency and quality.

The role requires 3+ years of diesel/trailer repair, a valid driver's license, strong organization, and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays when needed. Equipment literacy with mobile devices is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Ability to work extended/irregular hours including weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Proficient with electronic work orders and device usage
• 2+ years performing federal inspections and brake inspections

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components)
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures and DOT inspections
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components
• Open/close repair orders on company device
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory
• Accurately complete DOT forms and related documentation

On-Site Truck and Trailer Maintenance and Repairs

Our mobile repair experts come to you, performing all maintenance and repairs at your location and around your schedule. All of our technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified and are capable of performing a great number of repairs and services.

What You’ll Do

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

What You’ll Need To Have

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools
