National Fleet Management seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy‑duty trucks on customer sites. You’ll operate a company service truck and manage a local territory within roughly 50–60 miles of home, performing maintenance, repairs, and documentation with a focus on safety and quality.

The role offers competitive hourly pay with a performance-based structure, and a 90‑day transitional pay guarantee.

Qualifications

• Diesel technician experience preferred; mobile experience is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Dependable, self-motivated and safety-focused.

Compensation

$32 - $45+ per hour (based on experience and performance)

Our performance based pay structure rewards productivity, quality workmanship, and experience.

Top Mobile Technician earned $164,135 last year.

Average Mobile Technician earns over $100,000 annually.

We also offer a 90-day pay guarantee to help you transition into the role with confidence contingent on acceptance of offer.

What You'll Do

As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you'll work independently from a company-provided service truck performing repairs where our customers need you most.
