Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic

We operate over 92 service bays across multiple locations including Annapolis, Baltimore, Cumberland, Elkton, Frederick, Hagerstown, and Idealease of Baltimore.

Position Overview

As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, your responsibilities include:

1. Performing scheduled preventive maintenance and minor repairs
2. Completing vehicle inspections and addressing emergency breakdowns on-site
3. Repairing medium and heavy-duty trucks efficiently and to high standards
4. Collaborating with the service desk regarding vehicle issues
5. Conducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery replacements, and lubrication
6. Test-driving vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure proper operation
7. Staying current with warranty policies, vendor guidelines, and completing work orders accurately

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with mobile diesel mechanics and diagnostics, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks
• Own your own tools
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline vehicles
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance applications
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail
• Availability to work occasional Saturday hours
