Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services in Reno, NV is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to join our on-site maintenance team. You’ll perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.

This role includes scheduling maintenance, opening and closing repair orders, obtaining parts, and completing DOT forms with accuracy. We offer competitive pay, health benefits, and first/second shift options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Self-motivated with organized approach.
• Experience using a computer/tablet to process work orders.
• 2 years of federal annual inspections experience.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine, exhaust, etc.).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and related documentation in a timely fashion.
