We provide on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, servicing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Our services include accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair at over 50 nationwide service centers, supported by a 24/7 call center.

We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II.

The Mobile Diesel Technician Level II will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics. They will handle more advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continually learning new skills and techniques. The technician must comply with company policies and meet performance metrics.

DUTIES:

  1. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment.
  2. Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and more.
  3. Diagnose and repair various truck systems using test instruments and road testing.
  4. Manage parts inventory and maintain company vehicles, including safety checks and inspections.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients and team members, manage multiple tasks, and document work thoroughly.
  6. Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, welding tools, and lifting devices.
  7. Complete all documentation accurately and upload pictures and reports using company devices and applications.
  8. Obtain necessary parts and communicate with management for approvals.
  9. Follow safety, health, and environmental policies, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Possess a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
  3. Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  4. Obtain 608/609 certification within 18 months.
  5. Pass a DOT-regulated background check and physical prior to employment.
  6. Valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, with a clean MVR.

Certifications to obtain within 18 months:

  • ASE T8 (PMI)
  • ASE 608/609

Preferred Certifications:

  • ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, A8, L1

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform labor-intensive tasks.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to select appropriate tools and assess distances.
