We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II.

This role involves performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and other duties. The Technician II performs advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continuously learning new skills and techniques. A successful candidate complies with all policies and maintains high performance standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck systems such as electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, transmissions, and more.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments, test vehicles on the road, and determine necessary repairs.
• Manage parts inventory, operate company vehicles safely, and conduct safety checks.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, document work accurately, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental policies.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Preferred Certifications:

• ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, and 608/609 certifications.
