Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is a leading provider of mobile fleet maintenance and repair services nationwide, with over 50 service centers. We are currently hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various trucks in a mobile environment.
  • Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment including electrical, brake, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and more.
  • Conduct road tests and use diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions.
  • Manage parts inventory and maintain company-issued service vehicles.
  • Document work performed and communicate effectively with clients and management.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Tools necessary for the job and ASE T8 certification within 18 months.
Preferred Certifications:
  • ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, and 608/609 certifications.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and physical ability to perform tasks.
