We are hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and other duties. The technician will perform advanced diagnostics under supervision and continue learning mechanical skills and diagnostics.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various vehicles in the field.
• Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck and trailer equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling, engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions, test equipment, and road test vehicles.
• Manage parts inventory, operate company vehicles safely, and document work thoroughly using company tools and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years' related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Own set of hand tools required.
• Obtain ASE T8 certification within 18 months.
• Pass DOT physical and background check; valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate commerce regulations.

Preferred Certifications:

• ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8/609 certifications.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and physical ability to perform tasks.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and perform physical labor.
