Fleet Services, a Cox Automotive company, is a leading provider of mobile fleet maintenance and repair services nationwide. We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II responsible for performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and other duties. The role involves advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continuous learning, and high performance standards.

DUTIES
  1. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various trucks in a mobile environment.
  2. Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck systems including electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, transmissions, etc.
  3. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions using test instruments and road testing.
  4. Manage parts inventory and perform vehicle safety checks and inspections.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients and support teams, document work accurately, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess necessary hand tools.
  • Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • Pass DOT background screening and physical; hold a valid driver’s license.
  • At least 21 years old due to interstate regulations.
CERTIFICATIONS
  • Required: ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months
  • Preferred: ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, 608/609
