We provide on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, servicing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Our services include accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair across 50+ nationwide service centers, supported by a 24/7 call center, offering scheduled and unscheduled fleet services.
We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level I. The Technician will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and assist more senior technicians. Work is frequently audited for quality, and high performance is expected.
DUTIES:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (“PM”), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various vehicles.
- Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck systems including electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, transmissions, and more.
- Manage parts inventory and equipment on the service truck.
- Maintain and operate the service vehicle, conduct safety and pre-/post-trip inspections.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, assess needs, and resolve issues.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Use hand tools, diagnostic instruments, welding equipment, lifts, and jacks.
- Document work, upload pictures, and complete repair orders using company devices and applications.
- Complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
- Work independently, maintain productivity, and meet repair time standards.
- Obtain parts from vendors as needed.
- Communicate with management regarding repairs and approvals.
- Follow safety, health, environmental policies, and regulations including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
- Maintain the service truck and conduct safety checks daily.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED, up to 2 years’ related experience.
- Own a set of hand tools required for the job.
- Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
- Obtain 608/609 certification within 18 months.
- Pass DOT background screening and physical.
- Possess a valid DOT medical card or be eligible to obtain one.
- Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate regulations.
- Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and ability to drive according to DOT requirements.
Preferred Certifications:
- ASE T4 (Brakes) certification.

- Understand the implications of new information for problem-solving.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and perform physical labor.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to determine necessary tools and accurately judge distances.
