Diesel Technicians at Gordon Truck Centers (GTC) dealerships lead in workmanship, safety, and providing reliable service to customers across the Pacific Northwest.

We are hiring Mobile/Field Service Diesel Technicians for the Lynnwood, WA location. At GTC, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies, supported by a team and leadership committed to your growth. About GTC

Helping customers since 1986, GTC operates 19 dealerships under Freightliner Northwest, Western Star Northwest, TrailerCraft, and Freightliner of Hawaii. We sell, finance, insure, and service medium and heavy-duty trucks.

As a field service technician, you will conduct on-road and on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty equipment.

  • Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
  • Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Have working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differentials, A/C, and suspensions.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify deficiencies.
  • Read schematics for electrical and air systems.
  • Develop technical skills through training.
  • Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance and compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the mobile service truck.

Heavy equipment dealership experience is helpful; two years or more preferred. Three years of truck repair experience is required. Bring your mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and safety focus to Freightliner Northwest.

Compensation

Hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $50.00, based on experience and skill level. Night, weekend, and lead/mentor differential pay are available.
