Excel Truck Group is seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician to join our 1st shift team in Glen Allen, VA. This role is responsible for performing scheduled work at our customer locations.

If you have experience as a diesel truck technician, we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required. Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and or scheduled maintenance as needed as a mobile Technician at our customers location.
  • Perform State Inspections and CDL.
  • Diagnose and repair on the roadside and or not at our dealership.
  • Prepare work orders for repairs and works closely with our Parts department to ensure an efficient repair.
  • Train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
