Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is actively seeking skilled on-site maintenance technicians to service trucks and trailers at customer sites. Our mobile repair team brings decades of experience, focusing on quality repairs and efficient service to keep fleets on the road.

Technicians operate with DOT and brake certifications, handling inspections, diagnostics, and a wide range of repairs. This role promotes reliability, teamwork, and strong customer partnerships in a fast-growing network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willing to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Experience using electronic work orders and updating statuses.
• 2 years of experience in performing federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

On‑Site Truck and Trailer Maintenance and Repairs

Our mobile repair experts come to you, performing all maintenance and repairs at your location and around your schedule. All of our technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified and are capable of performing a great number of repairs and services.

What You’ll Do

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after‑treatment systems, lift‑gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company‑issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

What You’ll Need To Have

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self‑motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools
