The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the fleet for clients and handling service calls at client locations. Provide service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. This includes cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, removal of parts and attachments, installation with manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance tasks including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep it properly stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform assigned duties daily.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible work schedules.
• Maintain and inventory the tools required for maintaining diesel trucks and equipment.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and determine malfunctions to plan work procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to perform repairs.
• Perform diagnosis, removal, and replacement of various engine and vehicle components.
• Complete diagnostic and documentation functions on the company computer system.
• Check safety devices and make adjustments as needed.
• Lubricate parts and verify repairs through test drives.
• Perform preventative maintenance as requested.
• Document work performed accurately and submit paperwork timely.
• Respond to customer inquiries and foster positive relations.
• Advise customers on future repairs or services.
• Participate in training and apply learned skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
