Job summary

Ed’s 24 Hour Service in Findlay, Ohio is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Heavy Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment both in-shop and on the road.

You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and field repairs, and respond to emergency service calls, with on-call shifts and weekend work.

Applicants should bring extensive diesel and heavy machinery knowledge, welding ability, and a proven record of dependable, self-motivated work.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Experience with gas & diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, and transmissions.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid CDL preferred but not required and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Must have own tools and be insurable under company policy.
• Ability to work independently and manage field repairs.

Responsibilities

• Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in all weather conditions
