Qualifications

• Diesel engine knowledge including fuel, cooling and electrical systems.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines in trucks and heavy machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and verify repairs.
• Document parts used and repairs for inventory control.
• Test vehicles after repair and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain records and complete work orders.
