Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Crane Technician to maintain crane fleets for clients and respond to service calls at customer locations. You will perform cleaning, maintenance, inspections, and part replacement guided by manuals, reporting results clearly.

Candidates should have 5 years of Class 7/8 technician experience, relevant certifications, and a valid CDL if possible. Rush offers a comprehensive benefits package, growth opportunities, and a culture that values safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVS.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications are preferred & rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned duties daily.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and an open work schedule.
• Read job orders, diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment, and plan repair procedures.
• Diagnose and replace components as needed and document in the system.
• Foster positive customer relations and inform customers of repairs due soon.

Education
