Job summary

HealthDrive provides on-site dentistry, optometry, podiatry, audiology, and behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities across western Massachusetts, including Springfield, Greenfield, Pittsfield, and Great Barrington. The Dentist will offer general dentistry to residents in nursing homes, with flexible 2–5 days per week scheduling, and uncapped production-based pay.

Mileage reimbursement and full malpractice coverage are included, along with full administrative support

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD with state license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Dentistry background with ability to assess, treat, manage and evaluate dental care.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience using email, the internet and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry services to nursing home residents and long-term care facilities.
• Conduct routine examinations and oral cancer screenings.
• Perform routine extractions and fillings.
• Fabricate, relines and repairs of dentures.
• Provide emergency dental services.
• Enter patient information and document in our EMR system.
• Daily travel to skilled nursing facilities for mobile care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
