Job summary

DirectShifts seeks a highly skilled Mobile Dentist to deliver care to residents in skilled nursing facilities in Kansas. You will assess dental health, discuss treatment plans, perform limited procedures, and conduct oral cancer screenings, with travel from 20 minutes to 2 hours between facilities.

You are paid for all drive and clinic time. The position requires two days per month, with competitive pay and a minimum daily guarantee, plus drive time and clinic time compensation.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans to manage, improve, and treat dental and oral health issues
• Perform simple procedures such as exams, fillings, extractions, and denture-related services
• Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays
• Apply helpful agents to teeth, such as silver diamine fluoride, to arrest decay
• Maintain accurate dental records
• Manage and communicate with the facility and family to ensure the patient has the proper support for successful daily oral hygiene
