Job summary

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) seeks a Mobile Dental Van Driver for per diem, part-time work in Newport. The driver transports the Smiles Mobile Dental Van to schools and community sites, ensuring timely service and a welcoming experience for partners and patients.

The role supports setup, cleanup, and supplies management, while representing EBCAP in community settings. Applicants should have two years of driving experience, a clean background check, and a valid MVR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of professional driving experience operating a work-related vehicle used for deliveries, transportation, or similar business purposes.
• Successful completion of a national background check.
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of safe vehicle operation and transportation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation & Vehicle Operations: Safely operate and transport the Mobile Dental Van to scheduled community locations throughout the East Bay region.
• Mobile Clinic Setup & Support: Prepare the dental van for daily operations at each location and assist with setup, breakdown, cleaning, stocking, and organization of equipment and supplies.
• Customer Service & Community Engagement: Serve as a friendly and professional representative of EBCAP and assist school representatives, partners, volunteers, and the public.
• Administrative & Communication Duties: Deliver and retrieve registration forms, maintain communications with the Dental Site Manager, and document activities.
