Job summary

AccessHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to support a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities in Georgia. You will perform CT exams, verify patient history and safety screenings, and explain procedures using AIDET to ensure compassionate patient care.

The role requires 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT-R/CT certification, and BLS. You will work in a full-time capacity with flexible shifts, contributing to high-quality imaging while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospital-based radiology and CT experience.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent with radiologic tech program completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams per physician orders, safety standards, and protocols.
• Verify patient identity, collect medical history, and screen contraindications.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and communicate empathetically.
• Position patients, assist transfers, and ensure safe immobilization.
• Establish IV access, administer contrast, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Operate CT scanners and injectors, optimize image quality while minimizing exposure.
• Evaluate images, recognize urgent findings, and involve radiologists as needed.
• Document accurately, manage RIS/PACS uploads, and maintain QC.
• Support daily operations, stock equipment, disinfect rooms, and follow regulations.
