Job summary

Access, Inc. in Nanuet, NY is seeking a Mobile Response Team (MRT) Practitioner to respond to crisis calls alongside a licensed clinician. You will assess individuals in crisis, deliver interventions, and plan follow-up to help avoid emergency visits or hospitalizations.

This role does not require a professional license and offers hands-on clinical triage experience as a backup to licensed staff. Per diem hours and pay apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• 1–3 years in human services or related lived experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Response: respond to MRT calls in the field with a base clinician.
• Triage & Assessment: use screening tools to assess routine, urgent, and emergency calls.
• Clinician Backup: provide backup to the Base Clinician under direction.
• Diversion Planning: create follow-up plans to stabilize in the community and avoid ER visits.
• Linkage & Referrals: connect individuals to ongoing behavioral health services.
• Follow-Up Care: conduct face-to-face follow-ups to ensure continuity.
