Delta-T Group Illinois, Inc. seeks a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician to work in their Westside office and respond to calls throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.

This in-office, part-time weekend position supports crisis mental health services for youth and adults. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, crisis intervention, safety planning, and providing direct clinical interventions in homes, schools, hospitals or community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, education, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or related human service field.
• Must have a personal auto, valid drivers license, and MVR acceptable to the agency's broker and verification of insurance coverage.
• Mobile Crisis Response experience.
• Clinical assessment experience.
• IM+CANS preferred.
• Responders are dispatched solo in most cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, clinical assessment, safety planning and direct clinical interventions to youth and adults.
• Respond to calls across homes, schools, hospitals or community settings.

• This is an in office is based on the Westside of Chicago, you must be able to work IN OFFICE.

Saturdays AND Sundays, PRN currently not available

• 7:00am-3:00pm
• 3:00pm-11:00pm
• 11:00pm-7:00am

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) is a crisis mental health service program for youth and adults who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency. MCR agencies provide crisis stabilization via intensive mental health services for eligible individuals who may need hospitalization or community based mental health care.

May provide some or all of the following: clinical assessment, crisis intervention, treatment/safety planning, and administer direct clinical interventions to children, adolescents, adults, and their families experiencing acute and chronic emotional/behavioral disorders. The Mobile Crisis Response Clinician will provide these services in a variety of settings - primarily in homes, schools, hospitals or within a community setting.

• Negotiable hourly compensation of $27-$30 commensurate with education level and experience.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• This position requires a minimum of bachelor's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, education, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or related human service field. This would qualify this individual as a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
• The position requires the use of a personal auto, valid driver's license, and Motor Vehicle report acceptable to the agency's broker and verification of insurance coverage.

• IM+CANS preferred
• Mobile Crisis Responders are dispatched to calls unaccompanied/solo in the major of cases.
