Job summary

Lane County Behavioral Health seeks compassionate and skilled Qualified Mental Health Associates to join Mobile Crisis Services of Lane County. Work in two-person response teams providing crisis assessment, intervention and safety planning across urban and rural areas of Lane County.

Staff provide oversight, stay calm in challenging situations, use sound judgment, and connect individuals with resources, follow-up referrals, and case management as part of a compassionate care approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field with related coursework.
• At least one year of direct work with mentally or emotionally disturbed clients, plus two additional years in a behavioral sciences field.
• Alternatively, a combination of at least three years of relevant work, education, training or experience with required competencies.
• QMHA Certification through MHACBO.
• NPI.
• Transcripts.
• Diploma.
• CV or Resume.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis assessment and intervention in two-person teams.
• Develop safety plans and connect individuals with appropriate resources.
• Coordinate with clinical supervisors for oversight and support.
• Facilitate follow-up referrals and case management after crises.
