Job summary

LifeWorks NW provides mobile crisis response in collaboration with law enforcement to people with behavioral health concerns. The clinician works co-located with a deputy or officer, delivering crisis intervention and short-term stabilization plans across all ages. Must have QMHP credentials and a valid Oregon license or intern status.

The position is based at LifeWorks NW's Hawthorn site with travel between locations and community settings, requiring flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong assessment, decision-making and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
• Valid and active QMHP credential through MHACBO or licensed intern status with an approved Oregon licensing board.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related mental health field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations involving people experiencing behavioral health crisis.
• Provides on-site, community-based mental health assessments and crisis intervention as appropriate.
• Performs clinical evaluations and risk assessments, develops short-term stabilization or safety plans.
• Maintains clear and concise records and ensures confidentiality in health records.
• Travels between sites and in the community as needed.
