Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services is seeking a Crisis Clinician to provide direct crisis services in Boston. The role involves on-site assessments, treatment planning, engagement in services, and coordination with community resources to support safety and recovery.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a mental health field with license preferred and have experience in emergency services, documentation, and collaboration with partners. Evening/night flexibility may be required in a 24/7 program.

Qualifications

• Master’s level clinician with license preferred and at least 3 years in mental health.
• Ability to assess emergencies and de-escalate crises safely.
• Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site crisis assessments and treatment planning.
• Engage individuals in services and coordinate with community resources.
• Document assessments and interventions per Bay Cove standards.
• Support CCS unit coverage and lead or assist in groups when needed.
• Work with partners and family to plan safe dispositions.
