Job summary

Devereux in Winter Park, FL seeks a Mobile Crisis Services Clinician to deliver on-the-ground crisis intervention for youth and families. You will provide stabilization, safety planning and referrals, working across Central Florida counties to connect families with needed resources and supports.

The role requires a Master’s in counseling, social work, or psychology and relevant experience with children and families; travel to community settings is expected and on-call coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology.
• Two years' direct experience with children and families.
• Preferred experience with children who are victims of abuse or who are emotionally disturbed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis intervention and safety planning for clients and families.
• Collaborate with community providers to arrange needed services.
• Educate families about mental illness and supportive strategies.
• Provide flexible therapy and follow-up with timely documentation.
• Work independently and in teams, ensuring discharge planning when appropriate.
