Job summary

Common Ground is seeking a Crisis Interventionist III for the Genesee Mobile Crisis Services team. The role involves on-site crisis assessment, de-escalation, and intervention in Genesee County, Michigan, with 24/7 availability and leadership responsibilities as needed.

Must have a Master's in a Human Service field, Michigan licensure within 5 years for certain licenses, QMHP/CMHP/QIDP criteria, a valid driver’s license, and 1+ year crisis experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Service field required.
• Professional licensure in Michigan required or within 5 years for LMSW/LPC/LLP.
• QMHP or CMHP/QIDP criteria met per Michigan definitions.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• 1+ year experience in crisis or emergency mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential risks and safety concerns of individuals in crisis.
• De-escalate crises and provide on-site intervention.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning for adults and children.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Lead team efforts when required and coordinate referrals.
