Common Ground seeks a Master level clinician to join the Genesee Mobile Crisis Services team in Genesee County, MI. The CI III will conduct on-site crisis assessments and de-escalation, coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services, and lead team efforts during crises.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, brief, solution-focused interventions and collaborative safety planning with clients and families, in a fast-paced, community-driven environment.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Human Service field.
• Professional licensure in Michigan within 5 years.
• Certification with MCBAP or plan to obtain (CAADC/CADC) within 30 days of hire.
• Meets QMHP/CMHP/QIDP criteria defined by Michigan.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year experience in diagnosing/treating mental health, substance use or developmental disabilities.
• Crisis intervention or emergency mental health services experience.
• Experience with diverse age groups and disabilities.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and crisis intervention techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Assess risks and safety concerns for individuals/families in crisis.
• Complete mobile crisis assessments for individuals and families.
• Provide trauma-informed crisis intervention for adults and children.
• Develop safety plans with clients and support systems.
• Arrange transportation to safe locations as needed.
• Assist individuals experiencing homelessness or unsafe home environments.
• Collaborate with local agencies, hospitals and law enforcement for referrals.
• Coordinate with emergency services for transportation to appropriate facilities.
