Job summary

UC Health in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) Clinician to assess, plan, and coordinate care for Hamilton County residents in crisis. You will collaborate with psychiatry, case management, and law enforcement to promote stabilization in the community and smooth transitions to appropriate levels of care.

The role involves psychosocial assessments, education for patients and families, and ongoing liaison with health and mental health teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is required.
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license required or obtained per state rules.
  • Preferred: LISW or LCPC licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychosocial assessments and create care plans promoting community stabilization.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatry, case management, and law enforcement.
  • Educate patients and families, and facilitate transitions to appropriate care settings.
  • De-escalate crises using trauma-informed approaches and document care.
