Mobile Crisis Clinical Therapist / Mobile Crisis RN - Emergency Services with $10,000 Retention Bonus

This position is eligible for a $10,000 retention bonus.

Job Summary:

The Providence Center is seeking a Clinical Therapist and/or RN for Mobile Crisis Emergency Services. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide behavioral health and crisis assessments to clients both at The Providence Center and in the community. The position supports the supervisor with data tracking, training, supervision, and clinical consultation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments of assigned consumers.
  2. Apply knowledge of Psychiatric Diagnosis (DSM V TR).
  3. Conduct and document mental status examinations.
  4. Assess clinical emergencies, including suicide risk and danger to others.
  5. Collect relevant data from collateral sources, maintaining confidentiality.
  6. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  7. Develop and present clinical formulations based on behavioral data, relevant theories, and psychosocial and family issues.
  8. Conduct level of care and crisis assessments in various settings, including homes, shelters, and street outreach. Respond to active police/fire scenes following safety protocols.
  9. Collaborate with other providers, agencies, and individuals involved in the client's care.
  10. Maintain accurate records in accordance with health information standards and organizational policies.
  11. Participate in trainings, case presentations, and conferences.
  12. Attend mandatory in-service trainings and other licensure renewal requirements.
  13. Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, clients, community agencies, and the public.
  14. Provide mental health consultation to community agencies.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or related field, or be a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • QMHP eligibility required.
  • LICSW or LMHC preferred.
  • Possibility of driving required; must have valid driver’s license, registration, current inspection, and insurance.
