Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. Ingalls Shipbuilding division in Pascagoula, MS, is seeking an experienced equipment operator to support naval shipbuilding operations.

You will operate hydraulic mobile cranes, forklifts, backhoes, and related machinery, performing safety checks and reading load charts to ensure precise material handling. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of operator experience, with five years preferred, and familiarity with the PAT system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an operator.
• Five (5) years of experience as an operator is a plus.
• Must be able to recognize hand signals and perform daily checks on equipment.
• Must read load charts and have knowledge of the PAT system.
• Mississippi Scholars Tech Master certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates hydraulic mobile cranes, skid loaders, forklifts, backhoes, boom trucks, and tractors with bush hog.
