Job summary

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience in building and assembling wood or metal forms.
• Knowledge of proper elevations and form placement.
• Familiarity with reinforcing steel installation.
• Commitment to safety policies and guidelines.
• Ability to assist with concrete placement as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-wall structures.
• Set and place forms to elevations and locations; may aid in reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, level, laser, or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Coordinate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding issues, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is safe and in good condition.
• May signal concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Observe safety policies and guidelines.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
