B&B Concrete Contractors is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform a range of tasks from form construction to finishing of concrete structures on site. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, elevator cores, stairways, etc.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; aid in installing reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser and/or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for structures above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about problems, materials required, or safety hazards identified.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• May help signal concrete deliverer to position truck.
• Observe and comply with safety policies and guidelines.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
