Job summary

B&B Concrete in Raeford, NC is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to read drawings, build and set wood or metal forms, and assist with placing concrete on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, elevator cores, stairs, etc.
• Set forms to elevations and may assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, carpenters level, laser and/or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
