Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, elevator cores, stairs.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; aid in reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials; primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman or Project Manager about problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe condition; signal concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Observe and comply with all safety policies; assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
