Job summary

A tech services company is looking for a Computer Field Technician to perform on-site hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops. The role requires hands-on experience with computer hardware and a valid driver's license. Technicians will travel locally, completing 2-5 calls per day, and will handle parts pickup and customer service on-site. This position is based on a per-call payment structure starting at $35. Certifications from Dell and Lenovo will be provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have prior hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be comfortable with daily local travel.

Responsibilities

• Complete hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units.
• Confirm service times with customers and service at their sites.
• Pick up parts daily from assigned Fed Ex or UPS stores and drop off old parts.
